The lightweight Búho Slim Backpack lets you carry your essentials in comfort and minimalist style with a low profile. Sophistication meets function in this lovely little backpack which perfectly fits your slim laptop, wallet, phone and even your favorite book.

You’ll love the comfortable feel of the soft brown nubuck leather, and the convenience of adjustable straps (32” at longest).

Traditional techniques are used to achieve these gorgeous hues of burnt orange, deep coral red, and dark peacock blue with natural dye sources like indigo, marigold, and cochineal.

Many of the traditional designs found on MZ Made bags are taken from pre-Hispanic Zapotec ruins such as Mitla and Monte Alban. Each of these symbols has a deep cultural meaning to the people who weave them. We are honored to share these beautiful designs with the world.

Handmade by master Zapotec artisans Ludivina + Faustino in Oaxaca, Mexico.

Ludivina is an expert dyer, and specializes in keeping the ancient knowledge of natural dyes alive. The way Ludi creates a huge array of brilliant colors from all natural ingredients is truly incredible alchemy.

Your handmade item is made with premium wool, which naturally repels dirt, debris, and moisture. It requires less laundering than other fibers! Never use a washer or dryer.

For light cleaning, we suggest a cashmere brush. They are readily available online and in most craft and yarn stores.

For more intensive cleaning, we recommend eco-friendly dry cleaning.
